Abstract
|

|
A 20 month-old female was admitted to this pediatric department, complaining of pallor, intermittent fever and general weakness over about 5 months.
During the study of unknown anemia, she was diagnosed as iron deficiency anemia and esophageal hiatal hernia was found incidentally.
The anemia was corrected with whole blood transfusion and iron preparations, however, surgical procedure was not performed because of poor economic state. And then we had presented this case and -reviewed the. Literatures -briefly.
